Enhancing Broadband

Once the on-site wiring has been completed and the 3 lights on the router are on and steady the router must be configured with the correct connection type, VPI/VCI settings and the account username and password.

Instructions:

Setup Wizard on CD-ROM:

1. Insert the CD-ROM into the PC

2. The CD will auto-start with the Speedtouch menu. Select 'Speedtouch Setup'

3. Click on 'Next'

4. The wizard will start searching your network for a Speedtouch router

5. Once the device has detected it will list the router version, serial number etc. Click 'Next'.

6. Select the Profile 'Routed PPPoA-DHCP-NAPT' and click 'Next'

7. Select a VPI/VCI of 0*100 and then enter your username and password as supplied by your ISP and Click 'Next'

8. Enter a security username and password for the router. These details are completely user defined. Click 'Next'

9. The wizard will summarize the detials you have entered. If the details all appear correct click on 'Next'

10. Click on 'Finish' to complete the wizard.

The Setup should now be complete, you should have 3 green lights on the router and be able to surf the internet.
